How can I make transfers?

Through ATH Móvil
- Once you register, you must enter your login information, meaning your username and password.
- Select whether you want to make a person-to-person transfer or a card-to-card transfer. If your transfer is between people, choose a contact from your list or enter the phone number.
- Select the amount to transfer and the card from which the funds will be debited. Confirm the name of the person receiving the transfer and enter a message if you wish. Press "Send."

People Pay
Access through Mobile Banking or Online Banking. Choose the People Pay option and complete the requested information:
- Full name of the recipient
- Where the person will receive the alert
- Amount to send
- Select the account you'll use to make the payment
- Verify that all the information is correct, then press “Pay” to complete the transaction
If the recipient isn't registered in People Pay, they'll receive a notification that money has been sent to them and must follow these steps:
- Access the external link and choose their mobile phone number. *They have 10 days to claim the money.
- Enter the confirmation code.
- Choose the method they want to receive the money.

How do I add my Oriental Mastercard® / ATH® card?
- Download the ATH Móvil app.
- Click on the Register button.
- Enter your email, cell phone number and debit card linked to your Oriental account.
- Several transactions will be reflected in the added account, and you must access your Oriental Online Banking or Mobile Banking to validate them.
- Return to the ATH Móvil app, tap the card icon, and enter the amounts for both withdrawals and the deposit (the sum of the withdrawals). These small transfers cancel each other out, so there will be no change to your account balance.
- Now you're more than ready to send money!
Where can I find my financial institution’s phone number?
- Make sure you check the email account you have registered on ATH Móvil. Check your spam, promotions, trash, files, etc.
- If the email you have registered on ATH Móvil is from a company or organization, it may have established rules that prevent this type of email from reaching you. Try registering again in the app with another email.
- If it still doesn't work, it may have expired. You can try again by closing the app and reopening it.
- If the above does not work or you no longer have access to that email you have registered on ATH Móvil, if you can't access the app, call us at 787-620-0000.
- To regain access to your account, you must:
- Select "Forgot Password?"
- Enter the information that the app requests
- Enter the validation code(s) requested by the app
- Enter a new password as requested by the app
- Enter your debit card number again, and you're done.
- It is important that only you enter the information in the application after you initiate the password recovery process.
- If you are on the phone with someone, it is fraud. Do not continue the process.
HANG UP, the call is fraud. ATH Móvil will NEVER call you about anything.
How do I make a payment or transfer?
- Enter the application with your credentials.
- Click on the image titled “Send Money to a Person".
- Select the contact to whom you want to send the money to or enter the phone number.
- Enter the amount of money to send.
- Review the transfer information and write a message if you want.
- Press the “Send Money Now” button.
- A cell phone number.
- An email address.
- Your debit card.
- Register through the Android or iOS apps and agree to the terms and conditions of use.
I am being asked if I authorized this device and also received a text message with a code to use when using ATH Móvil.
I have never been asked for this information before. Could you please confirm if this is correct and originated from your company?
That is correct and it comes from us. To log in, you need to provide the security code we sent you by text message and authorize your device. You may have to go through this process more than once.
I received an email from ATH Móvil, is it legitimate?
- If you did something in the application such as logging in, sending money, making a payment, or making a change, ATH Móvil will send you an email. So that email is legitimate.
- We will never ask for personal information about your ATH Móvil account by email. If you receive an email asking for details about your account, ignore it, it is fraud.
Mandatory Disclosures
ATH Móvil & People Pay transfers may impact the transaction limits established for savings accounts, which will incur in a fee for each transaction in excess of the disclosed limit.
(1) ATH Móvil requires that both the owner of the account that will receive the transfer and the sender of the transfer must be registered in the service. To register you must have an active account with a debit card from a financial institution participating in the ATH Móvil service. Only individuals who are 18 years of age or older may use the service. Other restrictions apply. Visit athmovil.com for terms and conditions and a list of participating institutions. (2) To make payments with People Pay you must be registered in Online Banking (requires registration at orientalbank.com).
