How does digital wallet technology work?
When you register your Oriental card on a digital wallet or a smart watch, the actual number of your card is replaced with a unique digital number called "token". This token is uesd for online transactions and when paying through theese mobile devices (Samsung PayTM, Garmin PayTM, Garmin PayTM).
Where can I make digital payments?
You can make digital payments at businesses that accept contactless payments, some apps and online shopping. You can pay with ATH Movil in businesses that are registered and accept this as a payment option.
Where can't I make digital payments?
You can't naje your digital payment at ATMs or at any payment machine where you must physically insert a cards. Also, you can't pay with ATH Movil at businesses that have not registered for this service or that do not accept ATH Movil as a payment option.
What are the benefits of digital wallets?
When you make a digital transaction, you add more security for your online shopping. It'll protect your card information when changing your details with the thoken. Also, your card number should never be shared with a business or be saved in your device.
How can I find the transactions that I make with a digital wallet or smart watch on my bank statement?
You will see all digital purchases that were made through your Oriental debit/credit card on your account statement, just like your charges with your physical cards.

(1) ATH Móvil and People Pay transfers may impact the transaction limits established for savings accounts, which will incur in a fee for each transaction in excess of the disclosed limit. Visit athmovil.com for terms and conditions and a list of participating institutions. ATH Móvil is a service of the ATH® Network of EVERTEC Group, LLC. To make payments with People Pay you must be registered in Online Banking (requires registration at orientalbank.com/en/vi). Certain terms, conditions, and restrictions may apply depending on the provider selected among Samsung Pay, Google Pay and Garmin Pay. Oriental Bank is not responsible for failures or problems with providers that may prevent you from making a transaction. We reserve the right to remove the use of any of the providers at our discretion. The mentioned providers use internet data to carry out the transactions.
