Mandatory Disclosures

Oriental Bank clients may enjoy the benefits offered by the Concierge program:

 

(1) When opening an Elite account, the service will be available for all levels (1 through 7) for the first year from the account opening date. After the first year, it is available for clients who maintain $100,000 or more (levels 5 through 7) in combined balances of deposit and investment accounts with Oriental.

 

(2) Maintain an average balance of $250,000 or more per primary individual in personal deposit accounts.

 

(3) Request detailed information about each IRA account to determine which one is best for you. IRA Disclosures

 

Early withdrawal penalties for the instrument - CD IRA and Educational IRA  will consist of 365 days of interest on the amount of the early withdrawal. For Easy IRA, the Bank will not impose early withdrawal penalties.

 

In addition, penalties imposed by the Puerto Rico Department of Treasury apply, consisting of a 10% tax penalty (15% in certain cases) for any early withdrawal before age 60 that does not meet any permitted special conditions, and may apply regardless of whether the 10% (or 15%) tax penalty applies. Check distribution: $14.99. Any transfer to an individual retirement account at another institution will carry a $54.99 fee, except for the Educational IRA.
